However, if you are new to this exercise then you can do the split squat without weights or do it next to a wall or a beam to get some balance. The lead leg in this exercise is going to do all of the work. You will be balanced on the ball of your back foot, and a lot of weight is going to be on the heel of your front leg. Lunges

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Today you’re going to discover how to do lunges, but first, lets look at a big pet-peeve of mine in terms of program design. The thing that bugs me is that trainers tell everyone to do lunges, but most people have terrible form. So overall, I’d say lunges are the most over-rated exercise in your program. You need to learn how to do them correctly, so today you’ll also get a good lesson on lower body training. So, we will look at split squats and lunges. Specifically, when to use them, what to start with, and how to progress. A pet peeve of mine is seeing trainers take beginners through a series of lunges when really they should have no business doing lunges in the first place. A lunge is a very difficult exercise that requires not only a lot of coordination, but a good deal of lower body strength as well, both of which beginners or overweight individuals tend to lack. On top of that, many overweight individuals have knee problems so performing lunges only intensifies the pain. So when I see trainers taking these individuals through a series of lunges along with giving them weights before they can even perform the exercise properly you can imagine how irked I get. Instead of lunges, what I like to do is have people start with split squats. A split squat is really just a stationary lunge. So to get in position; place one leg in front and one behind, drop your hips straight down and then drive back up. The great thing

Gain Muscle & Lose Fat with TT Medicine Ball Workout 2

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This particular Medicine Ball workout will focus more on strength by taking a number of exercises and pairing them together in superset fashion. To start, you’ll begin with a series of lateral lunges and a diagonal chop and combine it with a unique pressing exercise. For the lunges, bring the medicine ball up over your left shoulder, take a lateral lunge out, and chop down with the ball to your opposite foot, making sure to get nice and low. Doall repetitions for one side and then switch to the other side. Immediately following all your repetitions for the diagonal lunges, get into the bottom squat position, and with the ball in one hand, press it up overhead. This exercise is similar to the stick-up exercise in that your arm isn’t going to have as much mobility as you want. Perform all repetitions for one side and then arms. Once you’ve finished all the repetitions, take one minute to rest and then repeat the superset two more times. Next, you will perform the one-legged squat. Place the medicine ball out in front of you, bringing one foot out as well. Now, squat down on one leg and then back up. Do all repetitions for one leg and then switch legs. Immediately following the one-legged squat, you will then move into the elevated push up exercise. So, get into a push up position, but now, place one hand on the ball, and then perform a regular push up. Once you have done all repetitions for one arm, switch the ball

Bodyweight 500

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is the ultimate challenge where you will perform 500 bodyweight repetitions in the BW 500 workout challenge. Starting out with 50 prisoner squats, you want to get in a squat position and placeyour hands behind your head. Be sure to keep your elbows back as this will force your upper back to work a little more in this exercise. Immediately following the prisoner squats, you are going to go into 50 push-ups. The good thing about this particular exercise is that you can split these up however you like. For example, you can do 10 repetitions five times or 25 repetitions two times. Jumps is the next exercise from the Bodyweight 500 challenge you’ll do. This time you are going to do 25 repetitions. Be sure in this exercise that you brace your body for the landing so as to reduce the impact on your body. So, once you come down into the regular squat position, you’ll jump right back up in the air, arms extended. After the jumps, you are going to move into 25 leg curl repetitions. This is a surprisingly tough exercise, especially after the jumps and squats. To begin, lie on the floor, with your feet up on the stability ball, bridge your hips up in the air, and contract your hamstrings to bring the ball into your body and then back out. In to the next exercise, you’ll perform 50 stability ball jackknives. So place your elbows on a bench, feet on the stability ball, keeping your body in a straight line, bring your knees

fat loss interval training

Visit Turbulence Training to get your FREE sample fat burning workout. Click here to get started: www.TurbulenceTraining.com The interval training portion of your workouts is very important for fat loss. Not only has research shown that long, slow cardio doesnt work that well for fat burning, but studies also show that interval training works better to help you lose belly fat. Unfortunately, just saying the words interval training can spare people, plus some trainers make interval training far too complicated for people who have never done interval training in the past. The great news is that interval training can be done by everyone, even beginners, provided you have them exercise at the right level of intensity for their fitness level. Generally, I recommend people use the stationary bike for their interval training workout simply because it is easy to transition between hard an easy and you don’t have to worry about falling off the treadmill or advanced sprinting. Also, you’ll need an extra warm-up with sprinting intervals. In this example I am going to use the treadmill and I recommend doing your interval training immediately following your strength training. However, if you aren’t fit enough, then you can do interval training or cardio training on your off days instead. Just be sure to have 1 full day of rest. For your intervals, you will want to train 3 days Below I am going to detail 3 interval training workouts from the beginner preparation phase. Workout A Start

Turbulence Training Seminar – Part 16 of 21

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Visit Turbulence Training to get your FREE sample fat burning workout. One of the major differences between the beginner and the intermediate workouts is the number of times you’ll be working out during the week. When you jump up to intermediate you’ll start training 3x a week. Some of you may still think the workouts are too easy, but trust me; these workouts can be as hard as you make them. Alter the exercises or add more repetitions. For example, instead of a regular push-up you can change it to a decline push-up and you instantly have a more difficult exercise. The great thing about these TT exercises is that they are very flexible to accommodate the level of the workout user. Plain and simple, the intermediate workouts should not be easy, so if you find that they are, then you need to make the proper adjustments! Here’s a safety tip for those training out at home. Always go one rep short of failure. Looking for those sweet six-pack abs too? Well, forget the hundreds of crunches and sit-ups that everyone else tells you that you should do. In TT workouts you’ll find ab exercises that place less strain on your back and are more effective at getting you results. Stability ball jackknifes, stability ball rollout, mountain climbers, and spiderman climbs are some of the exercises I use to focus on building up endurance in the abdominals. One last tip for you; if you can’t do chin-ups, pull-ups, or even inverted rows

Fat Loss Workouts with TT Hot Zone Workout A

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is Turbulence Training Hot Zone Workout A. You are going to do 4 exercises that are mandatory and one additional superset that is optional. The first superset will start with a dumbbell split squat. Get into your split squat stance anddrop your hips straight down and drive off your lead leg to come back up. This is really going to work your glute, hamstring and quadricep of your lead leg. This will work your lower body hot zone and a little bit of your upper back as well. Do all reps on one side and immediately switch to the other side. Move immediately into a pushup with your hands on a stability ball. This will work your pressing muscles in your chest, but also your abdominals to keep you in a straight line. Rest 1 minute and repeat that superset 2 more times. In this second superset, we’re going to work our upper back and our abdominals directly. The first exercise is a dumbbell chest supported row on the bench. Put the bench in an incline position and lean with your chest on the bench. Grab your dumbbells and row them up, making sure you are squeezing your shoulder blades together. This will really isolate your upper back. The next exercise is a cross body mountain climber. Get into a pushup position and pull your knee up into your opposite elbow while keeping your abs braced, alternating sides. These are very similar to a regular mountain climber, but you will get some diagonal movements which will
